Docsy is now a Linux Foundation project, with its own GitHub organization and a new Hugo module path. A plugin registry carries Mermaid and more; jQuery is gone; doc-rooted sites can publish llms.txt.
Hugo 0.166.0’s security hardening, and a few smaller changes, can break a Docsy site’s build or silently change its output. Find the ones that apply to your site, each with its fix.
Docsy modernizes and strengthens its foundations: Dart Sass, Font Awesome 7, and pinned script defaults. Breadcrumbs get semantic classes, bundled locales reach full UI-string coverage, and llms.txt sites gain agent discovery.
Docsy is now on npm as @docsy/theme. This release also moves the theme into theme/, raises the Hugo minimum, and drops its default favicons in favor of discovery, each with upgrade actions.
